Bangladesh are 2 runs short of their Historic final match and a dream trophy.
Well defended Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan. No matter what they planned, as the match begins the pakistani batsmen could not find any solution to hit the ball,
but they lost wickets regularly. And really Bangladesh were up to the contest. They bowled well, fielded well, played well to defend Pakistan for 236/9 in 50 overs.
The spinners Abdur Razzak and Shakib al Hassan bowled to the extent level and the entire match was in control of Bangladesh. The last over of Pakistan innings changed the game from Bangladesh in which they consumed for 19 runs.
Chasing down the 237 runs on the board Bangladesh started well and a tremendous knock by Tamim Iqbal.
After the fall of first wicket stand they went all down in pressure, in which the Bangladesh batsmen failed to score possible and easy runs.
After quick wicket fall in closer sessions, the Bangladesh batsmen were in their panic mind, all they tried to keep up the wickets. But none other than Tamim Iqbal 60 and Shakib al Hassan 68 played their knocks. Ofcourse they failed to get runs in pressure, later which changed the match. Mashrafe Mortaza was the another man who fought back at the end he played a sensitive knock of 18 of just 9 balls. He tried his best to grab their dream victory. All of a hurry he lost his wicket and that came the toughest moment for the hosts which caused them to fall under pressure in just short of 2 runs.
